By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these policies. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Permitted use
You may use the site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You may not interfere with site security, misuse forms, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at scale, impersonate another person, or use content in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
Our content
The River Hatch Packs name, artwork, writing, guide layouts, photographs owned by us, and other original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of those rights. Personal use of a purchased physical guide is allowed; copying, republishing, selling, or distributing it is not.
Availability and changes
We may update products, prices, features, and these policies at any time. Changes apply after they are posted and do not reduce rights already earned under law or an accepted order. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
Disputes and controlling law
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and the law of the state where River Hatch Packs is headquartered, without giving up any mandatory protection or venue right you have under the law of your home state. Nothing here waives a right that cannot legally be waived.
02 / Commerce
Orders & payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Taxes, shipping charges, and the complete order total are shown before payment. Payment is processed by PayPal; River Hatch Packs does not receive or store your full card number.
- An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance.
- We may reject or cancel an order for suspected fraud, inventory problems, obvious pricing errors, shipping restrictions, or other lawful reasons.
- If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount charged to the original payment method.
- Product colors and print appearance may vary slightly by screen and production run.
03 / Fulfillment
Shipping
We ship to deliverable addresses in all 50 U.S. states. Unless a product page says otherwise, orders are normally prepared within 2–5 business days. Transit estimates shown at checkout begin after the carrier receives the package and are not guarantees.
- Tracking is sent when available. The customer is responsible for entering a complete, accurate delivery address.
- If an order will not ship within the time promised—or within 30 days when no time was stated—we will provide a revised date and the option to consent to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund.
- Weather, carrier disruptions, holidays, and remote destinations can affect delivery after shipment.
- Contact us promptly about a package marked delivered but not received so we can help with a carrier inquiry.
04 / Customer care
Returns & refunds
You may request a return within 30 days after delivery. To qualify, an item must be unused, unaltered, and returned with its original components and packaging. Email us before mailing anything so we can provide return instructions.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with the order number and clear photographs. When we confirm the issue, we will offer a replacement or refund and cover reasonable return shipping when a return is required.
Other returns
For a change-of-mind return, the customer pays return shipping. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return is due to our error. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection, generally within 5–10 business days; banks may need additional processing time.
Digital downloads, personalized items, and final-sale products are not returnable when clearly identified before purchase, except where defective or where law requires otherwise. These limits do not replace any non-waivable warranty, cancellation, or consumer-protection right.

This notice explains what personal information River Hatch Packs collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Contact and order detailsName, email, delivery address, state, order items, and transaction records used to process and fulfill purchases.
Payment informationPayPal processes payment credentials. We receive confirmation and limited transaction details, not your complete card number.
Messages and submissionsContact-form messages, support requests, photo-submission details, uploaded images, captions, and any metadata included in a file.
Technical informationIP address, browser/device information, security logs, and essential cookies or local storage needed for features such as a shopping cart and checkout.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and improve the site, fulfill orders, communicate about purchases or requests, review photo submissions, prevent fraud, maintain security, keep required business records, and comply with law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
When we disclose information
We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to service providers that help operate the business—such as PayPal, website hosting, email, and shipping providers—or when required to protect rights, prevent harm, comply with law, or complete a business transfer. Those providers may have their own privacy notices.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information. If those practices change, we will update this notice and provide any legally required opt-out method before the new practice begins.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, customer service, tax and accounting duties, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request deletion.
External services
Links to maps, menus, PayPal, and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Their privacy and accessibility practices are controlled by their own policies.

State privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to River Hatch Packs, you may have rights to access, confirm, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, certain sharing, or qualifying profiling. California residents may also have rights to know categories and sources, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights.
Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is currently no sale or targeted-advertising activity to opt out of. We honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where they apply. Because no such activity occurs, a signal does not currently change the site experience.
Make a request
Email riverhatchpack@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and describe the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information needed to verify identity and protect your account or order data. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to proof of authority.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a request. If we deny a request, you may reply with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will review the decision and provide any additional explanation or appeal information required by your state.

Submitted photos
You keep ownership of a photograph you submit. By submitting it, you confirm that you are at least 18 or have a guardian's permission; you created the photo or have permission from the rights owner; recognizable people have consented to publication; and the submission does not violate privacy, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
You give River Hatch Packs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, crop, resize, format, and publicly display the submitted photo and caption on this website and in River Hatch Packs promotional materials. This license lasts until you ask us to stop future use, except that removal may take a reasonable time and does not undo materials already produced or lawful archival records.
Do not submit precise private-access coordinates, sensitive personal information, unlawful content, or media that could encourage trespass or unsafe conduct. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may decline, edit for presentation, or remove a submission at any time.

River, map & safety disclaimer
River Hatch Packs and the website provide general reference information, not real-time navigation, legal, medical, emergency, or professional guide services. Water levels, weather, hazards, hatches, land ownership, access points, closures, fees, and fishing regulations can change without notice.
- Verify current conditions, boundaries, access permission, and regulations with official agencies and landowners before every trip.
- Do not rely on a map or QR link as your only navigation or emergency resource.
- Use appropriate equipment, obey posted rules, respect private property, and assess conditions within your own abilities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, products and site content are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated, and River Hatch Packs is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on changing outdoor information. This does not exclude liability or warranty rights that law does not allow us to limit.
